In early July we attended the Galician Day of Cooperatives 2018 at Porri\u00f1o. Here, we received the <\/span><\/i>Best Business Development Award<\/i><\/b> in a great year for the Cooperative in every way possible. <\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

With the theme \u201cSustainable consumption and production through cooperation\u201d, the Cooperatives Day\u2019s aim is to move forward towards the goals for the sustainable development established by the UN for 2030. One of them is to guarantee sustainable  consumption and production, a quality recognised in the gala celebrated on July 7th, to which Concha Iglesias, Cooperative vice president, attended together with some members of Vi\u00f1a Costeira\u2019s board.<\/span><\/p>\n

In this gala, the supplies cooperative <\/span>Aira<\/b> received the award to cooperative values, the <\/span>As Mercedes de Lugo and Somoeso de A Coru\u00f1a<\/b> Professional Training Centers received the award \u201cCertame Cooperativismo no Ensino\u201d and <\/span>Bico de Grao initiative<\/b> received the award to \u201cBest New Cooperative Project\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

The event featured representative ceramic figures from <\/span>Sargadelos<\/b> and included speeches about Galicia\u2019s growth based on sustainability and authorities attending such as Alberto N\u00fa\u00f1ez Feijoo, <\/span>Xunta de Galicia President. <\/b><\/p>\n

In addition, Xunta de Galicia made this <\/span>video<\/strong><\/span><\/a> dedicated to Vi\u00f1a Costeira cooperative. Thanks to everyone, we keep on growing together in this wonderful year 2018, reaching our 50 Anniversary and being recognised as the <\/span>Best WInery in Spain<\/strong> <\/span><\/a> by the Verema Awards.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
