After a few days of uncertainty and waiting, last Wednesday the official results of the prestigious Verema 2016 awards were made official, awards in which our winery was nominated in the categories of “Best Sparkling” and “Best Winery”.
After counting the 7100 votes received, Viña Costeira managed to reach third place in the category of “Best Winery of the Year”, a great success as it was our first participation in Verema and being the only Galician winery awarded in this category.
On the other hand, we have also been closely involved in the success of A.O. Ribeiro, that won the first place in the category of “Best Apellation of Origin of the year”, being also the only Galician A.O. among the winners of the contest.
The awards ceremony for the winners will take place on February 25 in the event Verema Valencia, on the second day.
Receiving this recognition is a great boost for our winery, which will help us to continue working in the search of new challenges and to consolidate our image as a benchmark winery in Spain.
