The XV edition of the International Bacchus 2017 Wine Competition took place between 10 and 13 March in Madrid, becoming during those days the international epicenter of the wine world. The presence of wineries on the five winemaking continents only confirms the prestige and repercussion of the great Spanish event in the world of wine.
During four days, a cast of expert tasters from diverse backgrounds, formed the jury to evaluate and recognize the great quality of the wines presented in the Bacchus, having in the Spanish Union of Tasters a perfect host for the occasion.
In this edition, Viña Costeira has achieved a great success, receiving its Mencía 2015 a Silver Bacchus, an especially exciting award given the short life of this wine in the market.
After this prestigious recognition for a special wine and vintage, it is confirmed that this Mencia has a solid and firm present, but also a promising future, fruit of its memorable character and its uniqueness.
Undoubtedly, a new concept of Mencía.
