Once again we were nominated for Best Winery of the year
We are delighted to start 2018 in this way: there is nothing like being nominated by Verema Awards as the best winery of the year 2017 to encourage our team with great enthusiasm!
Although we guess that you already know these awards, Verema Awards take place each year in order to recognize the winerys for its efforts, giving a special prize to all of the winners. Verema Awards´s Ceremony also offers a taste of all the wines and a wide variety of enriched experiences linked with the wine world.
Specifically for this edition, that will take place the 15th of february in Valencia, Verema´s editorial team have selected us attending to the comments and wine tasting published in the site Verema.com during 2017. Besides, they recognise our progress and long history. We really appreciate your votes and strong support, thank you so much for your good ratings!
According to Verema´s selection, these are all the Spanish wineries nominated by Verema for Best Winery of the year: 3 Pilares, Argenceres, Arzuaga, Attis Bodegas Viñedos, Balmoral, Bodegas Bilbaínas, Castelo de Medina, Dominio de Cair, Murviedro, Resalte and Vintae. We are truly proud of being the unique Galician winery in this section. Our congratulations and best of luck to all of you, colleagues!
Apart from the mentioned category, there is a total of 12 nominated in all of the 13 categories and candidates of the Verema Awards in this edition: Best path winery, Best Spanish wine, Best Spanish red wine, Best Spanish white wine, Best Spanish rosé wine, Best sparkling wine, Best full-bodied wine, Best sweet wine, Best wine relevant figure, Best sumiller, Best wine RCDO , Best Spanish restaurant with good practices in wine and Best distilled.
In the fact sheet of the website, Verema specially highlight the image of innovation and renovation present in Viña Costeira since 1968. In this way, apart from a retrospective along our history and evolution, they emphasize our future projection without forgetting our essence, origin and identity. In this sense, they have already recognised our effort with two nominations in its previous edition: Best winery and Best sparkling wine.
